Freakshow (A Novel)

Freakshow is an upcoming paranormal drama I have been working on December 2016. It is about a young man who has the power of psychokinesis and is unable to control it, while struggling with the acceptance of his peers and being different. But with the help of a group of unique individuals who are part of a "peculiar people" show, he discovers their isn't anything wrong with being different.

Ian was different - well, that's what he was always told. Born with the uncontrollable power of psychokinesis, Ian never found it easy to fit in - his "gift" always seemed to get in the way. He unintentionally hurt people, usually being taken over by his power when under stress or when he was angry. Tired of dealing with the pain his power had caused, Ian decides to take matters into his own hands. He is saved by a gang of outcasts before doing so, who are part of a showcase run by a man they call Mister Larrabee. With his new found friends, Ian begins to feel like less of an outsider. But when dark secrets are revealed involving the show runner, Ian is left with a tough decision that could end deadly.

The idea for Freakshow came to me back in 2013, when the story wasn't really developing yet. It wasn't until recently [December 2016] that the plot and story began to develope during some time I was spending at a cafe while brainstorming. As I try to do in all of my writing, I share some experiences and try to reach people through the stories message. Freakshow is nearing completion and will be my second novel, with an expected release to be sometime in the summer of 2018. I will be sharing updates, as well as an excerpt titled, His New Family available to read. Stay posted on the blog for more information about the perculiar story Freakshow

Welcome to Inside the Mind of a Creator 2.0!

Hello my avid readers! I am back! I know it has been a very long time since I was last on my dear blog, but I am back and here to stay! If you are a new reader to my blog and reading my work for the first time, here's a little bit about me.

I am a writer and have been for the last 13 years. I self-published my first novel Bloodlines from The Bloodlines Saga back in January of 2014, and I am continuing to write on to this day.

For those that followed me from my original blog Inside the Mind of a Creator, I was just starting off, sharing my creations and stories as they came to me. I had so many ideas and so much to share, with almost not enough time to do it all. With sharing my own works, I also used my blog to admire and review other creative works (particularly films), from series such  as Harry Potter, The Twilight Saga, and The Hunger Games. I also was doing some model at the time with a friend of mine that was a photographer, which I shared on my blog as well. After a while, being able to keep up with my blog became taxing, as well as keeping up with my writing and maintaining two other blogs (The 12 Trilogy and † WING Blade †). But after a traumatic incident in my personal life, I fell off from my creativity for a long while and had to repair myself from the damage I had experienced.

Now, I have returned to my writing, with more depth and passion than I believe I've ever had before. I have taken works that I had previously created and they have blossomed into new creations that I am extremely excited to share. Although my life had/has changed so much over the last 3 years, I am determined to share my story through my writing. There will be pain, happiness, sadness, joy, anger, depression, hate...but I believe that I can help people who feel there is no one out there that knows or has felt what they're going through. I am wanting to change the world through pen and paper; thus, Inside the Mind of a Creator 2.0 was born.

I will be sharing my new stories, future works, excerpts, and my writing journey with those who choose to follow. Feedback and comments are always welcome, and I love when people share my blog and works with others. I thank those who were with me in my writing journey before and those joining me now. I am excited to see where my journey takes me next.
